SEPTEMBER
Welcome back to the continuing SAGA of "Mankind's HIstory"!
You've been here before....we just couldn't go through ALL of man's history in one year. So we'll finish it up this year!
REMEMBER - you make history every day - you observe history every moment - as long as mankind exists, we will continue the symphony. It's now going to be viewed like a movie - frame by frame, we will explore each segment that made mankind who they are today.
So...here we go. One, two, three...ACTION!

This blogspot will be updated monthly!
(unless told otherwise)
Just like last year, your weekly reading assignments will go along with what we will discuss in class. They are all online and will also be available on the school network.
The files are password protected for copyright reasons - the password will be provided in class (and only in person - but its the same one as last year). Please do not share the password online or via email, texting, etc. - just face to smiling, gorgeous face.

Yeah I know - I hate them too.
But you can't study some history without some dates to know where you fit into things.
I recommend notecards and start learning them early.
Here is the date list you will be required to learn this year.

We will also be participating in
Yup - it's back, you lucky people, you! We will be working on projects on ANY historical subject, within the confines of this year's theme and the timeframe of the class - from the Fall of Constantinople (1453 AD) to the Present.
This year's theme is:
TAKING A STAND IN HISTORY

We will work on NHD each Thursday until the regional competition on Saturday, March 11.
We will hold the competition at STEM like last year!
More details will follow!
And we will talk more on the first Thursday about the project.
