QUIET ON THE SET...ROLL 'EM!
We will continue our analysis of the Age of Absolutism - and if we have time we will move into the Age of the Enlightenment - the philosophical foundation that lead to America.
STARRING such creative artists like Toussaint Louverture, King Louis XIV, Napoleon Bonaparte, and John Locke. And wait until you see the wonderful Co-Stars!

REMEMBER - READING QUESTIONS will be passed out each week and will be due at the beginning of class EACH TUESDAY. The following is the reading for NOVEMBER:

TESTS
KEEP GOING OVER YOUR NOTES 3-5 MINUTES DAILY.
You will have a test every two or three weeks - over each major section (one will be on Thursday, November 10th, by the way). So stay on top of your notes....and use the daily quizzes as a guide to know what to study.

YOU MAY USE NOTECARDS ON WEDNESDAY, WEEKLY VOCABULARY QUIZZES!!!
We will continue daily quizzes over class notes, but you MAY use notecards for weekly Vocabulary Quizzes (from your reading) so I highly recommend it....come on! It's like having the notes right in front of you!!!

WEEKLY - until Christmas Break you will be required to have 10 notecards with 10 facts on your topic EACH THURSDAY! You must have your THESIS STATEMENT (typed - and your OWN copy) handy when I check your notecards, and remember to have a BIBLIOGRAPHY CARD for each fact you find.
Remember there is only ONE WAY to earn your 10 points each week - you MUST have 10 notecards each week. Otherwise, it is a zero - stay on top of your research, folks!
